Pictures from our day trip to Chorin are posted.

I do have some new pictures to put up, but they'll have to wait until tomorrow. Last weekend we went out to Chorin, a tiny little village about an hour away where a semi-ruined old cloister sits in the woods. Great weather, nice hike, and a pretty interesting old church. Yesterday, we had freezing weather and even snow in Wittenberg. Wittenberg is where Luther nailed the famous 95 theses to the church door and kicked off the Reformation. More interesting to us was the Lucas Cranach museum. No pictures of Wittenberg, which was pretty but in a sort of gray and boring way. The weather here in Berlin is on and off. We get some great days, then cloudy rainy freezing ones.
I had dinner with my boss the other night. He's a really great guy, and feels very bad that he's paying me so little. If they can drum up enough clients to stay in business, I'm sure he'll find more money for me.

From an article in today's Post: "I realize that this bill basically says you can tap someone's phone for jaywalking, and normally I would say, 'No way,' " said Del. Dana Lee Dembrow (D-Montgomery). "But after what happened on September 11th, I say screw 'em."
Thanks, Maryland. And why don't I want to go back to the US?
