Cloisters at Chorin, Northeast of Berlin, April 2002
Chorin is a tiny town about an hour northeast of Berlin where we went with our friends Mike and Deanna the other weekend. We hit a perfect day for it, too.
After getting off the train, we hiked about a mile through the woods and came out at the old semi-ruined Cloisters.
Part of the nave is missing, so most of the insides are exposed to the outsides.
It's amazing that this thing is still standing.
The rest of the group is walking over to a ruined something-or-other here. The information about the place was a little sketchy, so we never really figured out what this building used to be.
Some pictures of Heather, mugging and not posing for the camera.
