IA Austin

I had dinner last night with local IA Mike Steckl, one author of the ongoing B&A articles on controlled vocabs, thesauri, and facets. We talked polar bears, Austin, the value (or not) of certain listservs, and scarfed burritos. It was good to talk to someone who's really doing IA full-time for a big complex subject, especially since I'm so down on the prospect of any IA-type work in my future.
