Today's Tips

What I've learned this week: if you're going to try to put Flash movies inside Powerpoint, do not even think of doing it without GlobFX's Swif Point Player. Otherwise, you'll enter a bizarro universe of VB workarounds, unpredictable scaling and movie playback, and just a world of confusion.

Also, if you are a graphic designer hired to create a logo, do not copy one from a clip art CD and say it's your own work. And then lie about it when caught out two years later, after cease-and-decist letters go out to other people using the same clip art. That makes your client feel more than a little stupid. (BTW, this designer was not me.)
