The SoBig virus takes advantage of the "feature" of Outlook that allows executable attatchments. There's plenty of commentary on why this is bad. So what are the reasons for having that feature in the first place? What application is there for the ability to execute email attatchments? Are there some Outlook/Exchange geniuses out there who need this feature for Custom Corporate Email synergy? Or is it so that IT Managers have complete and total remote control over every aspect of worker-bees' mailboxes in case of pending legal action?
