TurboTax Stole from me in 2003
Remember, Intuit's little problem last year? The one where they installed an invisble, spyware-like monitoring application on your computer to prevent you from pirating their software? This year, I was hit with a "known bug" which authorized a direct debit of next year's first quarterly estimated tax payment even though I specifcally said not to. Intuit's solution? Simply call your bank, which isn't at fault, and see if they will help you get your money back from the US government, which also isn't at fault (and probably spent my money already anyway...).
Hey, maybe the gummint will just to send some free money my way while they're at it. Seems about as likely to work.
