Midsummer Light
We just bought the Midsummer Light to hang over our dining room table. It reminds me of a Redon painting.

that must be why i love it; the painting you linked to is the one in Cleveland, my favorite painting throughout childhood/adolescence…did you know that?

Does the light throw off enough light for your dining room? I am about to order either the garland light or the midsummer light and thought it would act more as an accent light in a corner…not a dining room light. If it can though, that is ideal! Carrie

It definately throws enough light for our table. It does have a basically conical shape, so the area under the lightbulb is actually totally clear straight down. I think we have a 75 watt bulb in there. I actually prefer it dimmed fairly low to make the dense foliage effect look the best.
