Apple predictions

Quick thoughts after reading the latest spy-cam rumors at AppleInsider. If the line “Life Is Random” applies to a new iPod, it seems to justify the design of a tiny ipod holding about 240 songs, with minimal controls—perhaps just play/pause and next song/previous song. “Shuffle-mode only” is actually pretty smart; I’ll bet it can handle one iTunes (smart) playlist, so it would be easy to “fill the ipod with songs I’ve rated 4+ stars”, or “fill my iPod with songs I haven’t listened to in more than a week.”

Update: I was exactly right.
