EtCon vs. SXSW
Matt Webb’s notes from the Emerging Technology conference make me wish I were there. Now, admittedly this is Matt Webb writing these lines but anything that produced this has me at word one:
something about the medieval names for badgers? godel centenary is next year. godel and von neumann collaborated.
Reading Matt’s and others’ notes makes it just how obvious the difference between ETCon and SXSW is: the panels at SX just did not challenge the audiences in any way. There was just so much agreement everywhere.
