These papers were written when I was a MA student at the University of Texas between 1995 and 1998. Since then, I've been out of the field and have not continued to pursue art history in any way.

I hope you find these papers useful or interesting. However, I really cannot comment or give suggestions on the research here or on your work. Of course, I'm always interested in hearing about what scholars are doing, so please contact me if this stuff helps you with your own work. Naturally, this stuff is copyright me, Andrew Otwell, and cannot be reproduced, copied, or cut and pasted without my permission. If you're an undergraduate, using this stuff without giving me proper credit is wrong, and might get you a failing grade or even expelled if you're caught.
